Eak Case

Kampanart Hianchasri was born in 1982, Bangkok, Thailand. He graduated Bachelor Degree from Bangkok University in Communication Design from the School of Fine and Applied Arts.

Kampanart defines himself that “I am just a person who love and fascinated in graphic design.” He always gets embarrassed when people call him “Graphic Designer” because he thinks that being a graphic designer is beyond his capability.

Kampanart realizes that comic books are what made him literate and started to draw. He loves music and can listen to any genre. He enjoys watching all kinds of movies; is passionate in photography; and the activities that he has never abandoned are drawing and working on his personal graphic designs.

Kampanart has worked with many studios and is one of the cofounders of a graphic designer group called Case Inc. He was chosen to exhibit his artworks at Bangkok University Gallery with the group named “Collaboration”. He had also designed printing media for Design (alone) Cannot (everything) Exhibition and used to worked with Practical Studio, designed printing media for the exhibition in honor of His Majesty the King, Portrait of the King: The Art of Iconography, that was held at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. He has been invited by Santi Lawrachawee to attend the " heART to Heart" show at Central World Square with his work, Hope.

Kampanart has given lectures about graphics for many places and was chosen to give talks about his own thesis at Pecha Kucha Night Bangkok 02. Moreover, he was selected to be one of the twenty graphic designers who exhibit and give talks in Pecha Kucha Night Bangkok 06 under the theme “Graphic = …”.

Kampanart has appeared in many magazines featured both his works and other works from Case Inc. In 2009, his illustrations were published in the Computer Arts Thailand magazine (issue 04) and he was also chosen as one of the “7 Thai Type Designers” in the Computer Arts Thailand magazine (issue 07). In 2010, his illustrations works were published in the Computer Arts Thailand magazine (issue 10) and recently, his typography works were also publish in the Computer Art Thailand Project magazine (issue 06) under the theme "Become a master of typography in 100 pages".

Currently, Kampanart is a senior graphic designer at King Power Co., Ltd. as well as supervises his team at Case Inc. Kampanart believes that GRAPHIC DESIGN is important for human, therefore, as a human being, we should take graphic design into our considerations.
